2. Structural Clues
(a) Structural clues are about the way a proper sentence must be written.
You can say it is more grammatically based.
Example :
The monkeys ________ the tree to pick the coconuts.
John is _______ the kite.
(b) Master these eight types of structural clues to score in Cloze.
3. Contextual Clues
(a) Contextual clues tells you what the passage is about.
(b) You can find these clues around the blank, within the sentence and the paragraphs.
Example :
Janice keeps her hair long, unlike her sister, who has _______ hair.
If you put in the adjective “short”, then you had used contextual clues.
(c) Master these eight types of contextual clues to score in Cloze.
