Really?

While birth order plays a significant role in shaping their personalities, there are many other mechanisms at work. Take this fun test to determine your child’s birth order personality, and see how it stacks up against her actual birth order!

There’s nothing scientific to learn in this test. I just thought it’s a fun break from all the discovery for the past few tests.

The Kid’s IQ Test is actually Ph.D Certified for children ages 6-16 years old and takes about 40-60 minutes to complete.

This will be good if you want to gauge your child’s IQ, but I advocate you not telling him the results in the end. You can however, use the results to determine your child’s natural intellectual strengths and see what you can do to help him.

This is another fun test that I think have no scientific claims. But it’s fun to have a glimpse of what your child will grow to become in 10 to 15 years.

By the way, the quiz claims my daughter would be a vet! But she’s so fearful of animals now! Lol.

This test is a serious one. Some parents may choose not to let their children do this because they might be fearful of the outcome. I think this is important, because Dyslexia affects a relatively large proportion of kids here.

Even if you know your child is not dyslexic, this test will be useful to gauge the reading ability of your child, vis-a-vis her actual level. The test reveals that my P1 daughter is really reading at P3 level. This is a huge relief for her, because her confidence to read has always been low, as she always compares herself to her brother who is 4 years older.

Just a word of advice. Although it took only 8 minutes for my daughter to finish the test, it was very repetitive and somewhat boring. Just get ready to praise a lot and motivate your child as she is taking this test.
