The Oral Reading remains. However, instead of having a picture to describe, students now have to engage in a Stimulus-Based Conversation with their examiners. |

Oral Communication consists of Reading Passage (10 marks) and a Stimulus-Based Conversation (20 marks). a. For Reading Passage, students are assessed on their ability to pronounce and articulate words clearly, as well as their ability to read fluently with appropriate expression and rhythm. b. For Stimulus-Based Conversation, students are assessed on their ability to give a personal response to a visual stimulus and engage in a conversation on a relevant topic. The Oral Reading Passage and the Stimulus-Based pictures are broadly linked to the same theme. |
