Many parents have also given feedback that their schools like to extract articles from “formal” articles such as National Geographic, Reader’s Digest and Straits Times.
So you might wish to consider subscribing to them too. If you think subscription is too expensive, you can borrow them from the library too.
Anyway, it’s great reading, especially with the non-curricular information that can be learnt from NatGeo and magazines like that. In my opinion, reading such magazines beats reading story books at times!
