Watch the Subject-Verb Agreement

When you join two nouns together, watch out for the verb. That changes too.

Also, look out for redundant words when the two sentences are joined. Such redundant words include 'also', 'too' etc. Remove them.

Note. This rule applies to the connector 'and' too.

Example:

Mary loves swimming. Jane loves swimming too.

-> Both Mary and Jane love swimming.

-> Mary and Jane love swimming.

-> Both Mary and Jane loves swimming.  X

-> Mary and Jane loves swimming.  X

-> Both Mary and Jane loves swimming too. X

-> Mary and Jane loves swimming too . X

-> Both Mary and Jane love swimming too. X

-> Mary and Jane love swimming too . X
