Everything happens for a Reason

This connector is to explain the reason. 

Example:

Jessica went to see a doctor. Jessica was sick.

-> Jessica went to see a doctor because she was sick.

-> Jessica went to see a doctor because Jessica was sick. X

Note.  "Because" is not the same as "Because of". Usually, the latter appears only during the upper primary levels. But since they look so similar, let's touch on that too. 

Example:

Mary is scared. The test questions are difficult.

-> Because Of : Mary is scared because of the difficult test questions.

-> Because : Mary is scared because the test questions are difficult.
