Watch the Subject-Verb Agreement
The verb agrees with the noun or pronoun closest to it.
Example:
The bus is not moving. The cars are not moving.
-> Neither the bus nor the cars are moving.
-> Neither the cars nor the bus is moving.
Example:
I do not like to eat spinach. I do not like to eat lettuce.
-> I like to eat neither spinach nor lettuce.
-> I do not like to eat neither spinach or lettuce. X
The above example does not involve the changing of the verb. Rather, it involves the reverse action (do not like to eat -> like to eat). It is more applicable for P4 onwards, but if your child is in a top school, who knows ? The school might introduce such questions by end P3 to siff out the smarter children.
