1.

When your child is answering the conversation question, she might run out of ideas on how to elaborate on an idea.

2.

One way is to use the 5W1H method. If you are not aware what this is, it just means who, what, where, when, why, how.  With this method, your child will easily be able to produce at least 5 sentences for her story.

Example:

What is your favourite pet?  Dog

Who bought the pet for me?  My parents

Which breed is it? Maltese

Where was it bought from?  A pet shop from Tampines

When was it bought? Two years ago for my birthday

How did it behave when it was brought home?  It was not used to the new environment and began to exhibit panic anxiety. However, after a few days of tender loving care given to it, it began to settle down comfortably.

Does your child needs more help in her English? Then give her the English Triple PDF Booklet Pack, which contains 38 tips and techniques from 3 separate titles. For a limited time, this Triple Pack is priced at only $6.99!
